USF students to perform 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee'

TAMPA (FOX 13) - The theatre students of the University of South Florida are preparing for their next performance.

The school’s theatre department will be performing “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” It’s a musical comedy about a fictional spelling bee set in a geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School.

Six quirky adolescents compete in the Bee, run by three equally quirky grown-ups.
