Former deputy sentenced after crashing patrol car into ex-wife's home
MILTON, Fla. (FOX 13) - A now-former Escambia County deputy admitted to being under the influence when he crashed his patrol car into his ex-wife’s home.
The incident occurred in November 2016 in Milton, Florida. The State Attorney’s Office released dash cam video showing Timothy Taylor crashing into the front of the home.
Taylor first enters and reverses out of the driveway. A woman is seen standing in the doorway moments before the patrol car rams into the front door, where the red and blue flashing lights continue to reflect off the debris. It’s unknown whether the woman is his ex-wife.
Taylor pleaded no contest to DUI and criminal mischief charges. He has been sentenced to two years of probation.
