The Clearwater Marine Aquarium and the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach hotel have teamed up to promote and fund the aquarium's rescue operations.

David Yates, Aquarium CEO, says guests who visit the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach can now stay in Dolphin Tale themed rooms.

Part of the money spent staying in a themed room will go to help the aquarium’s business operations and rescue and research organizations.

“Seeing [CMA] grow over the years to where now, where we can be a draw like this… just shows the great partnership that we have,” Yates told FOX 13 Wednesday.

The rooms are themed after Winter the dolphin and Mavis the sea turtle.

The finances of the deal aren’t being made public but the two organizations have agreed to promote each other.

“We thought it was a great opportunity to leverage our marketing,” said David Yamada, general manager for Wyndham's Clearwater Beach property.

The aquarium will also help educate Wyndham guests on their turtle conservation work and how they can help protect that species.
