Buildings damaged by high winds in Zephyrhills

ZEPHYRHILLS (FOX 13) - The Zephyrhills Police Department said it received reports of downed tree limbs and damaged roofs after high winds blew through the area Friday. 

Police say they have not received any reports of injuries associated with the event. 

Some of the worst damage was reported at the Pinecrest Mobile Home Park on Harriet Street.

The view from SkyFOX showed several large tree limbs had fallen near some homes, as well as some roofs peeled back from buildings.

The National Weather Service says there have been no reports of a tornado touching down and that damage was likely caused by straight-line winds.

There was no indication of a tornado or rotation on the radar, NWS said.
