Datz announces plan to open second location in St. Pete
ST. PETERSBURG (FOX 13) - The snarky and delicious Datz is expanding beyond South Tampa.
A new Datz location is expected to open in down St. Petersburg in Spring 2018. According to a press release, the restaurant will adjoin the still developing The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art at 150 Central Avenue. It will be the first Datz to open outside of its flagship location in South Tampa.
The corner of Central Avenue and 2nd Street South is transforming into a museum and retail spot which will be right across from a city parking garage.
Datz launched in January 2009. Dough, a bakery, opened in 2012, after the owners formed the Datz Restaurant Group (DRG) in 2014, DRG opened Roux, located on MacDill Avenue.
