Man on cruise ship near Tampa rescued after medical emergency
TAMPA (FOX 13) - A 39-year-old man embarked on a cruise when he started suffering from chest pains.
Rushan Pain was just 8 miles south of Port Tampa Bay, but needed more medical attention. The Coast Guard was notified around 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday.
A crew from Coast Guard Station St. Petersburg arrived in a 45-foot boat and transferred Rushan onto it.
They brought him to the main St. Petersburg station, where an emergency medical services team transported him to Bayfront Medical Center for further car.
