Police search for man who killed Hardee County teen
BOWLING GREEN (FOX 13) - Police in Bowling Green are asking for the public’s help to find a man they say shot and killed a teenager.
18-year-old Eddie Grant was shot by Gabriel Arenas Ceja on Friday. Police say he died shortly after the shooting.
"Right now we do not know where the suspect is," said Sgt. Edward Coronado. "He's considered armed and dangerous, he does have a warrant for his arrest for homicide."
Grant's girlfriend was at the home when he died.
"I was scared, I did not expect that to happen over a little fight like that," said Sierra Jones. "They had just gotten into a fist fight, that's when he shot him with his gun."
Ceja was last seen fleeing the scene of the crime in a 2007 Ford Fusion, maroon in color. The car has temporary Florida tag CFK8209.
If you see Ceja, or the vehicle, you are asked to contact police immediately.
