Truck slams into Pasco County restaurant, twice

NEW PORT RICHEY (FOX 13) - A man is in the hospital after his truck ran into a restaurant not once, but twice.

According to police, Jerry Jokisch was impaired when he drove his truck into City Subs and More in New Port Richey Sunday afternoon.

The owner of the restaurant, Jimmy Kap, said they just opened the family business in July and are thankful that they were closed Sunday.

Police say Jokisch was taken to the hospital and will be charged with DUI.
