WWE's Titus O'Neil creates Christmas magic for Bay Area kids
TAMPA, Fla. (FOX 13) - Christmas came a little early for thousands of children in the Bay Area Saturday.
More than 15,000 gifts were given away during WWE star Titus O’Neil’s Joy of Giving 2018.
The kids ran towards Raymond James Stadium in excitement when doors opened around 10 a.m.
Each child had a smile on his or her face when they received a Christmas gift during the 9th year for the event.
Nancy Reyna waited in line with her son before sunrise and says it really helps during a time of year when money can be tight.
“This has been a blessing, for the families in need it’s helped a lot,” Reyna said. “I’m very grateful.”
Titus O’Neil put the giveaway together because he says he had a rough upbringing and wanted to give back.
“Coming from my situation having a single parent mother…when people invested in me when they had nothing in return is why I’m even in the situation to be able to do this," O'Neil said.
Families also enjoyed a free meal, live music and plenty of games.
