Thief steals gumball machine from California animal shelter
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (FOX 13) - A California animal shelter in Sacramento are looking for a thief who broke into the shelter and stole a gumball machine.
The theft occurred on March 7 and was captured in surveillance video. It shows the man entering the Front Street Animal Shelter through a doggie door, and attempted to take the gumball machine back through the same doggie door to exit. During this time, the top of the machine fell off, and gumballs scattered across the floor.
He eventually carries the machine outside and throws it over a barbed wire fence.
The shelter said there was a donation box filled with money across from where the gumball machine once stood, but the thief didn’t touch it.
A photo of the suspect was also released, and the shelter hopes someone recognizes him.
