A bear cub wandered into a fire station in Wintergreen, Virginia, on August 23.

Firefighter Buddy Ford filmed this footage of the cub in the station. It quickly left without incident.

In the caption of a video the station posted on Facebook, the Wintergreen Fire department said residents are guests in the bears’ home and have a responsibility to coexist safely.

"Some stations have spotted dogs. When your station is in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains you just never know what might wander in the bay," the post said. "Recently firefighters Buddy Ford and Deric Meakins surprisingly bumped into a Black Bear in the station. Believe it or not, this isn't the first time this has happened, but it is the first time it's been captured on video."

In the video, the bear can be seen wandering along a wall. A firefighter can be heard saying, "Go on, wrong direction."

When the bear spots the human, he runs out through the bay door.
