MULBERRY, Fla. - A 25-year-old Winter Haven man under investigation for identity theft has been arrested in Mulberry.
Austin Roberts, 25, had a warrant for his arrest for unlawful possession of Social Security cards, credit cards, and checks from more than 50 people.
On Dec. 30 at about 9:30 p.m., a deputy spotted a car connected to Roberts in the Taco Bell parking lot at 6753 N. Church Ave.

Roberts wasn't in the vehicle but was found inside the fast food chain and taken into custody.
According to the sheriff's office, Roberts also had a notebook with instructions on how to use personal information in an "illicit manner."
