All aboard: Railroad museum highlights Plant City history
PLANT CITY, Fla. - If you enjoy trains and (or) history, there is a little place in Plant City you might want to consider visiting for yourself.
The Robert W. Willaford Railroad Museum has done a great job of capturing the historic importance of the railroad through Plant City. Active tracks still run right by the museum.
They are hosting RailFest this Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The festival, just like visiting the museum, is free. They will have some auction items available for bids, since this is a fundraiser for them.
