New York man brings overseas skills to Seminole pizzeria

SEMINOLE, Fla. (FOX 13) - In Seminole, you’ll find a place that takes their pizza very seriously.

Brooklyn Pizza Company focuses on handmade New York-style thing and crispy pizza. They put their own spin on it with specialty options like the “Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza” or “The Coney Island” pizza. It’s not just pizza they offer. The menu here is huge with many Italian favorites.  

The owner of Brooklyn Pizza Company has quite an interesting background, and an equally interesting accent to go along with it. Born in New Jersey, Brad Fisher moved to Brooklyn as a kid and got his first job delivering pizzas for a local pizzeria.

He would go on to become the youngest manager ever for the Dominos franchise, and eventually end up managing several Dominos stores here in the Tampa area. Then he took his pizza skills to the United Kingdom, and spent the last twenty-five years overseas.

Now he’s back in Florida, and has opened up his own place again—using all original recipes that date back to his Brooklyn days.
