Want to go where the wild things are?

There's a real place in the Bay area that's crawling with all sorts of critters and creatures- 150 native and exotic species, to be exact - that allows locals and tourists alike inside for an up-close and personal encounter.

It’s called Sarasota Jungle Gardens, and it happened to be the setting for our very own Dave Osterberg’s most recent One Tank Trip.

During Dave’s adventure, he fed flamingos, snuggled with a skunk (unscented!), snapped selfies with some gators and even chatted with a parrot.

But that’s not all Sarasota Jungle Gardens has to offer. In addition to their new “Flamingo Cam”- which provides 24-hour viewing of the flock- the facility hosts daily bird and reptile shows that are said to be as educational as they are entertaining.

For their youngest visitors, there is also a newly renovated playground, a Koi fish feeding pond, and an “all aboard” choo choo train for hours of riding.
