Owners of Tipsy Candle Company turn empty wine bottles into candles

TAMPA, Fla. (FOX 13) - Rather than tossing those empty wine bottles, two entrepreneurs in Tampa decided to turn them into candles.

Christian and Steven came up with the idea a few years ago. They wanted to do something with the wine bottles they were emptying. So, they started recycling them and turning them into candles. Soon, they had a full-fledged business: Tipsy Candle Company.

The duo continues to come up with new designs and scents. They cut off the bottom, sand down the edges, and that holds the scented soy wax. They can also host candle parties for groups of 15 or more at a customer’s home. There, they’ll teach you how to blend for different scents.
