1 killed, 2 seriously injured in Pasco County motorcycle crash: FHP

PORT RICHEY, Fla. - A pedestrian lost his life Sunday night after troopers said he was struck by a motorcycle while trying to cross US 19 in Pasco County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 64-year-old Fort Myers man was walking eastbound across US 19 shortly before 8 p.m. when he was hit by a Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by a 60-year-old Port Richey man.

The pedestrian died at the scene.

The motorcyclist and his passenger, a 41-year-old Port Richey woman, suffered serious injuries in the crash.
