    • A man was shot to death early Friday morning in Tampa.
    • The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
    • Deputies said there is no threat to the public but have not released any information about a suspect or a possible motive.

TAMPA, Fla. - A man was shot to death early Friday morning in Tampa.

Deputies were called to the 3700 block of Patina Drive around 4 a.m. for reports of a shooting. 

When they arrived, deputies say they found a man suffering from upper body trauma.

They began life-saving measures but said the man died at the scene.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office says there is no threat to the public but has not released any information on a possible suspect or motive. 

The victim has not yet been publicly identified. 

The shooting is under investigation.
