LUTZ, Fla. - One person is dead after a fire broke out at a home in Lutz on Saturday afternoon, according to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue.

Crews responded to Garden Quilt Circle after several people called 911 saying a home was on fire.

One person died after a house fire broke out in Lutz on Saturday, according to HCFR.

Investigators say flames were burning through the roof of the house, but crews were able to contain the fire within 15 minutes.

First responders located the victim while searching the home.
