Almost 1,500 museums in the United States are offering free admission to anyone with a Museum Day ticket.
Getting a ticket for National Museum Day is easy. Just visit the Smithsonian magazine's website.
The website also has a list of participating museums.
One ticket is good for free admission for two people, and they can be downloaded through 3 p.m. on September 22.
