5 cats killed in Pasco County mobile home fire
HUDSON, Fla. - Five cats died and four people, along with three dogs, were displaced after an early morning fire destroyed a mobile home, according to Pasco County Fire Rescue.
What we know: Crews responded shortly after 4 a.m. off Clara Dr. in Hudson.
The home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, officials said.
An early morning fire destroyed a mobile home in Hudson on Thursday, killing five cats.
PCFR said all four people and three dogs inside the home made it out safely, but none of the five cats survived.
The fire was likely caused by an electrical issue in the bedroom, according to investigators.
The Red Cross is helping the victims.
