LABELLE, Fla. - Four-year-old twin boys are safe and a man is in custody after the children's disappearance led to an AMBER Alert on Wednesday.

The Hendry County Sheriff's Office says Ralph Garvin, 47, stole a vehicle with the two kids inside.

Law enforcement tracked down the vehicle in DeSoto County, investigators said, and arrested Garvin after he tried to run away.

According to deputies, Garvin is a friend of the twins' family.

The children were reunited with their mother and grandmother.
