Apparent road-rage axe attack caught on camera; suspect on the run
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Police are searching for a man who was seen on video attacking a car with an axe following a collision in Memphis, Tennessee.

Another motorist captured video showing an unidentified man wielding an axe and striking another vehicle on Saturday, Feb. 22, according to police.
In the video, the suspect can be seen striking the side of the vehicle twice before stepping away, appearing to provoke the passenger inside.
The suspect takes their jacket off and throws it on the ground and stares at the victims inside the car before picking the jacket back up and walking away.

What we know:
The suspect was allegedly rear-ended by another vehicle that was being driven by a man who was accompanied by his girlfriend before the attack.
After the collision, the unidentified man whose car was hit exited his vehicle and began yelling at the passengers inside the other car before retrieving an ax.
The suspect struck the victims’ car multiple times, smashing the front windshield, back windshield, and side.
After vandalizing the victim’s car, the suspect got back into his car and drove away.
No injuries were reported, according to police.
The suspect’s vehicle was described as a 2012 Chevy Impala.
