Arrest made after Kings Meat Market shooting that killed 1 person

The suspect in the Kings Meat Market shooting that killed one person on the morning of Dec. 18 has been arrested, according to the St. Pete Police Department.

Charles Teal is in custody and has been charged with the murder of 42-year-old Deon Bell.

Officers were called to Kings Meat Market at around 8:30 a.m. for a report of a person shot. 

When they arrived, police said they found a man, identified by police as Bell, suffering from a gunshot wound. 

He was taken to Bayfront Health where he was pronounced dead.
