TAMPA, Fla. - Bacon Egg’n Cheese is a Tampa-based company making authentic, New York-style breakfast sandwiches.
Owners Karin and Paulina Araya moved to the Tampa Bay area from New York in 2022.
"My husband would go to work and couldn’t find a fast breakfast spot on the go. I said, ‘I think you should open something up and give it a try,’" said Paulina.

Three years later they have one of the most popular food trucks in all of the Bay Area. The staple menu item is the company’s namesake.
Karin said the perfect New York bacon, egg and cheese has two over-medium eggs, two slices of American cheese, crispy bacon, slightly toasted bread, and salt, pepper and ketchup.
"Also, what makes it New York is, it’s quick. You shouldn’t wait 20 minutes for a bacon, egg, and cheese," said Karin.
Bacon Egg’n Cheese has two locations. One at 3410 South Kings Avenue in Brandon. The second location is in downtown Tampa at 411 North Florida Avenue. Both locations are open for breakfast and lunch.
