Bayfront Hospital nurse accused of stealing checks and credit cards from his patient
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla - A Bayfront Hospital nurse has been arrested for allegedly stealing a credit card and checks from a patient, according to Pinellas County arrest records.
23-year-old Trenton Duckworth was arrested Saturday after investigators say he wrote a $5,000 check to himself and forged the signature of his patient, Charles P. Langford.

Duckworth also allegedly used Langford's credit card for sports betting and other purchases.

The victim claims that the stolen amount was less than $10,000, according to PCSO.
Orlando Health sent FOX 13 a statement regarding the allegations.
"Orlando Health’s number one priority is the health and safety of patients, team members and visitors. We take allegations of misconduct seriously and have launched an internal investigation. We are fully cooperating with law enforcement."
