Bear tries to jump through closed window

WELLSVILLE, NY (Fox News) - A little bear cub on a stroll in upstate New York learned a hard lesson - don't try to jump through a closed window.

Video taken by Marlee Johnson Cannon shows the bear positioning itself on a table outside a home in Wellsville, New York.

Just when the bear thinks it's at a good angle, it leaps towards the closed window, hoping to get inside the house.

Instead, the bear hit the glass - hard - and bounced right back to the ground, frightening not only itself, but the people inside the house.

The bear, seeming a little dazed and confused, took off running back into the woods.
