CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. - The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after an armed man opened fire at a Dollar General Store in Crystal River Sunday afternoon.
It happened at the store located along Gulf to Lake HIghway and N. Dunkenfield Ave.
According to investigators, one person was taken to an area hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, and one person was taken into custody.
Authorities say this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.
