Chicago woman experiments with frozen bubbles during deep freeze

As a polar vortex moved toward Chicago on Wednesday, chilly locals experimented in the sub-zero temperatures.

In video shared by a resident in the Hoffman Estate neighborhood in northwest Chicago, Beth Wekerle experiments blowing bubbles that freeze instantly.

National Weather Service said temperatures were expected to be between -20 to -30 degrees Fahrenheit and could reach -40 degrees in some isolated areas of Chicago.
