What's next: FOX 13 Meteorologist Jim Weber says Thursday afternoon's highs will struggle to reach 60 degrees despite plenty of sunshine.
Highs will again struggle to reach 60 degrees across much of the Bay Area on Thursday, meteorologists say.
It will be another cold, crisp morning on Friday, with lows once again hovering around the freezing mark in our northern zones and in the 40s closer to the coast.
Lows will again drop into the 30s and 40s on Friday morning before a brief warmup.
Friday afternoon will be a bit milder, though, with temperatures warming up to near 70 – which is still slightly below the average high of 71 in Tampa.
Warmer temps won't last long, as another winter storm system is making its way toward the southeastern U.S., and that will drag our next cold front over the state by Saturday.
The next cold front moving into Florida will bring rain on Saturday, which could linger into Sunday, according to FOX 13 meteorologists.
"We'll see the rain start to push in, as well," Weber said, noting a 50% coverage of rain in the Bay Area on Saturday. "And it looks like some of this is going to linger into Sunday."
Temps will stay below average into next week, with highs in the lower 60s.
The trend of cooler temperatures will stick around for most of the next several days, meteorologists say.
