PORT RICHEY, Fla. - A Pasco County woman is seeking closure on her mother's death one year after she was killed.
Jennifer Suojanen, 52, was found dead inside her Port Richey home by investigators on December 21, 2023, and her husband, Sean Suojanen, has since disappeared.
Jennifer's daughter, Jayde Potter, said it's been a grueling year without answers.

"A year later, here we are and nothing has been done," she said. "They have not done anything for the justice of my mom's life."
In January, FOX 13 spoke to Jennifer's neighbor and friend who called 911 after seeing Sean behind her home acting strangely.
Potter said the house and first memorial built for Jennifer was destroyed by the hurricanes last Fall.
"It's a broken home without her," she said. "This is what she did. My mama made this place a home. But without her, it's nothing. This cross is where she resides."

Potter and loved ones have since rebuilt the memorial, and while it brings them peace for a moment, anger quickly takes over.
"We just now had the legal opportunity to put her to a proper rest in November....November, almost a year later," she said. "It was a beautiful ceremony. It was a beautiful service. We got to talk about the beautiful memories, the moments."
Potter said the family is infuriated that the case has remained stagnant.
"Here we are around the day that she was taken...ripped away from us, and we're nowhere. We have no idea where he is," she said. "He should not be out there somewhere free and living while she's gone from here. It's not right."
Sean Suojanen has a criminal record dating back to 1991 – mostly for drugs, including cocaine. There was also a domestic assault charge in 2005. He is 53 years old, 6’3" and weighs about 250 pounds. Sean has dark blonde hair and brown eyes.
