Demolition of Crabby Bills in Clearwater Beach begins

CLEARWATER BEACH (FOX 13) - Demolition of Crabby Bills began Friday, brining an end to a era in Clearwater Beach - sort of. 

After deciding the building wasn't up to their standards, owners of Crabby Bills decided to close for demolition and rebuilding back in May. They plan to rebuild and reopen the new and improved Crabby Bills around March of 2017.

Graphic renderings of the new building show a three story structure with a second floor inside dining room, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a rooftop dining area, equipped with a large bar and 360 degree views of Clearwater Beach.
