Deputies on scene of Holiday man barricaded inside home after burglary: PCSO

    HOLIDAY, Fla. - An adult man is barricaded inside his Holiday home after he allegedly committed a burglary and battery on Friday night, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

    Deputies say the attempted robbery happened at 5:20 p.m. on Salibury Dr., and when they arrived at the scene, they found the victims of the robbery beaten up in a car outside the home.

    The man first entered the house before finding the homeowners in an outside car, where he beat them up, PCSO says.

    PSCO says the man is still barricaded inside his home and that deputies remain on the scene. 

    This is an isolated event, and there is no public safety threat, according to PSCO.
