WASHINGTON - The FBI has seized two envelopes delivered to the Pentagon that are suspected of containing ricin, according to Fox News.
The envelopes were discovered at the Pentagon's mail screening center.
According to Fox News, the items were addressed to U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis and Admiral John Richardson.
Officials say the packages were delivered on Monday.
According to the FBI, the envelopes are undergoing additional tests.
In the meantime, all mail that arrived at the screening facility Monday is under quarantine.
No one was ordered to evacuate the facility during the incident. Police say there was no threat to the 20,000 people who work at the Pentagon.
The Secret Service says they also intercepted a suspicious envelope that was addressed to President Donald Trump and the White House.
Authorities told FOX 26 in Houston that two people were taken to the hospital after apparently being exposed to a white powdery substance at Senator Ted Cruz's office located at the Phoenix Tower on 3200 SW Fwy.
