FEMA hurricane assistance application deadline on Tuesday, Jan. 7
TAMPA - Homeowners and renters in Florida who experienced losses or damage from Hurricane Milton or Helene have one day remaining to apply for FEMA assistance.
The application deadline is Tuesday, Jan. 7.
Eligible claims include displacement, basic home repairs, personal property losses and uninsured or underinsured disaster-caused expenses.

Flood water caused by Hurricane Milton has flooded the Lakeland Livin' community.
You can apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov or by using the FEMA App.
For additional assistance, residents can visit any Disaster Recovery Center. You can visit their website to find a center near you.
