Fiona the baby hippo celebrates first birthday
CINCINNATI, Ohio - Not-so-little baby hippo Fiona turns one this week and she had a blast at her birthday party.
Her birthday party was held at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden on January 24 with her mother, Bibi, her polar bear pal, Anana, and all the park guests.
Fiona enjoyed a hippo-friendly cake made by the zoo's nutritionist.
The hippo overcame many hurdles last year after being born six weeks premature to first-time-mom Bibi.
She was just 29 pounds when she was born and the zoo cared for her until she was able to be reunited with her mother and father, Henry.
