Flamingos take shelter at Busch Gardens
TAMPA, Fla. - The flamingos are seeking shelter at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.
Video of the flamingos walking in a line headed to safety was shared Sunday by the theme park, which is home to 12,000 animals.
Busch Gardens is closed to the public and says they have a comprehensive weather preparedness plan that includes moving all the animals to secure locations.
A zoological team is also on site for the duration of the storm, Busch Gardens says, to monitor the animals around the clock.
