Florida man hits, kills 8-month-old baby following argument with passenger: JSO
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A Florida man is behind bars and an 8-month-old baby is dead following an argument and crash over the weekend.
What we know:
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Justin Golden, 20, was driving with a female passenger and an 8-month-old baby when he got into an argument with the passenger.
Investigators say he took the baby out of the car before leaving the scene, and hit the baby with the car.

The baby died.
Golden was taken into custody and charged with aggravated manslaughter and vehicular homicide.
What we don't know:
It is unclear if the baby was Golden’s child.
Police have not said what led up to the argument between Golden and his passenger or why he took the baby out of the car.
What they're saying:
In a Facebook post, the sheriff's office stated, "We, with our partners at the State Attorney’s Office, will stop at nothing to get justice for the baby."
