Hernando crash blocks north and southbound lanes on Highway 200

HERNANDO, Fla. - Officials are asking drivers to avoid the bridge of Highway 200 in Hernando that's at the Citrus/Marion County line.

Citrus County Sheriff's Office deputies and Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a traffic accident on Sunday, according to authorities.

Officials say both northbound and southbound lanes are blocked, so drivers should find an alternate route if possible.
