A high-speed pursuit of a driver on the Selmon Expressway early Saturday morning ended with the suspect's vehicle crashing into a Florida Highway Patrol vehicle, according to FHP.

The pursuit began when the suspect was seen driving his BMW on State Rd. 618 at a very high speed.

FHP troopers say they attempted two pit maneuvers during the chase and the suspect's BMW finally came to a stop about a half-mile from the beginning of the initial traffic stop attempt.
