Hillsborough County cold weather shelters open Saturday night
TAMPA - Several cold weather shelters are opening in Hillsborough County on Saturday night with temperatures expected to drop to around 40 degrees overnight.
All shelters will take people from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. unless they fill up.

Residents are encouraged to use friends or family as their first option with limited spots available.

The following shelters are for adults only.
Hillsborough County shelters
- Church of God of Prophecy Hyde Park: 107 S. Oregon Ave., Tampa, Fla. 33606
- Hyde Park United Methodist Church: 500 W. Platt St., Tampa, Fla. 33606
- Tampa Bay Mission of Hope: 212 S. St. Cloud Ave. Building A, Valrico, Fla. 33594
- Amazing Love Ministries: 3304 E. Columbus Dr., Tampa, FL 33605
For families with children, a limited number of single-night motel vouchers are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
