Hillsborough firefighter wanted after Key West bar fight
TAMPA (FOX 13) - Video shows the punches being thrown, and law enforcement says the fist is that of a Hillsborough County firefighter who’s now on the run.
Police say the video from a bar in Key West shows 33-year-old firefighter Clint Walker involved in a bar fight. They believe he’s also part of Outlaw Motorcycle Gang. They were there for the annual poker run. As the video plays, Walker and about 15 other members of the Outlaws start attacking bar employees.
Within minutes, the bar turns into an all-out brawl. At one point, a chair is picked up and used as a weapon.
Four bar employees and customers were injured during the melee.
Key West police say they identified Walker using the surveillance video and issued a warrant for his arrest on battery chargers.
This isn't his first run in with the law. Back in May, he was arrested for battery on a law enforcement officer after a fight broke out at Del Mar Gastro Lounge in St. Pete.
An officer used a stun gun on Walker that night, and part of the incident was caught on cell phone video.
Charges against Walker were later dropped and he wound up suing the St. Pete Police Department. That civil case is on-going.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue issued a statement about Walker:
“We take these accusations very seriously and are opening an investigation into these charges. We will take all appropriate disciplinary actions and he will be on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation."
