Hit and run involving bicyclist closes 38th Ave N, police say

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - St Pete police UPDATE: All lanes are back open.

St. Petersburg police say 38th Avenue North in St. Pete is closed after a bicyclist was hit by a vehicle.

The unknown vehicle was not at the scene when police arrived to find the injured bicyclist.

Police say the victim was transported to Bayfront Health in St. Pete with serious injuries.

The road remains closed during the investigation.
