IRELAND (STORYFUL) - A whale watching group captured drone video of six humpback whales feeding and socializing in waters off the coast of Cork, Ireland, near Reen Pier.
The Irish Whale and Dolphin Group (IWDG) said they were gathering data on Irish whale activity in Irish waters.
Science Officer with the IWDG Seán O’Callaghan told RTE, the operation allowed the group to “collect the first set of aerial images and video that will be used to estimate the length and body condition of these iconic giants. In the footage you can see four individuals interacting with one another while common dolphins actively bowride these behemoths.”
