Hungry beachgoer: Bobcat prowls Cocoa Beach

Floridians are used to seeing all sorts of wildlife at the beach.  But it’s not every day that you spot a bobcat strolling the shore.

That’s what Sara Hanlon caught with her cell phone camera a few weeks ago.  Hanlon told FOX 35 News that she saw the big cat hunting for prey at Cocoa Beach back on March 31.

Her footage shows the bobcat prowling through the dunes and palms late in the afternoon.

Last year, another beachgoer spotted a bobcat on the beach on Siesta Key, where they are considered a more common sight.
