Jon Stewart saves cow escaped from slaughter house
QUEENS, N.Y. (FOX 13) - A steer loose in queens was saved by comedian Jon Stewart Friday.
It was no April Fool's joke when the bull escaped from a slaughterhouse in Queens.
The steer was being taken of a truck when it escaped in the streets. He was corralled and taken to an animal care and control facility in Brooklyn.
The animal, named Frank Lee, was picked up by Jon Stewart and his wife. The comedian said he will be taking the steer to his farm sanctuary in Watkins Glen.
