Lake Wales man arrested for armed meth trafficking
LAKE WALES (FOX 13) - The Pasco County Sheriff's Office said deputies arrested and charged a man for armed trafficking of methamphetamines.
Deputies said they responded to 4443 Mammoth Grove Road Wednesday, December 23 after getting an anonymous tip about illegal narcotics being used at the residence.
Deputies said a strong chemical odor was coming from a shed on the property. Inside, deputies said they found two large jugs with liquid methamphetamines.
In total, officers seized 5,000 grams - or 24 pounds - of liquid meth.
Deputies also searched the suspect's vehicle, where they found meth residue in a baggie, a glass pipe and a firearm.
The suspect on the scene, 50-year-old Charles Snively, was placed under arrest and charged with:
- 1 count Armed Trafficking in Meth Over 200 Grams
- 1 count Maintaining Structure For Drug Trafficking
- 1 count Possession of Paraphernalia
He was taken to the Polk County Jail on no bond.
