Motorcycle crash kills 19-year-old in St. Pete
ST. PETERSBURG (FOX 13) - Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident at the intersection of 30th Avenue North and 66th Street in St. Petersburg that left a 19-year-old man dead Monday evening.
According to police, a Jeep driven by 61-year-old Patricia Stevenson had been traveling south on 66th Street, and struck the motorcycle as she turned onto 30th Avenue North.
James V. Redner-Gilmartin, the 19-year-old driving the motorcycle was pronounced dead on the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.
Stevenson was transported to the hospital and later released.
