Man found dead in water off Chapin Street in Tampa: Police
TAMPA, Fla. - The Tampa Police Department is investigating after a body was pulled from the water off Chapin Street on Monday afternoon.
Few details have been released, but police say the body of a man was found around 3:15 p.m. near the 2400 block of Chapin Street.
It was pulled from the water by members of the Tampa Police Dive Team.

Detectives are investigating what led up to the death.
They are also working to positively identify the man and notify his next of kin.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
