Meet the first Bay Area babies born in 2025

TAMPA, Fla. - As 2025 began, it wasn't long before hospitals across the Tampa Bay area helped deliver the first babies of the new year.

Below is a look at some of 2025's first births on Jan. 1, in chronological order.

Lakeland Regional Health

Baby boy Brayden was born in Lakeland just 11 minutes after midnight to parents Paige and Kahari.

At 12:14 a.m., baby boy Arjun Giri was born in Brandon to parents Manali and Rohan Giri.

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital

Baby girl Iliana came into the world at 12:19 a.m. in St. Petersburg, weighing 7 pounds, 4 ounces.

St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital

At 12:29 a.m., baby boy Enzo was born in Tampa, weighing 8 pounds, 5 ounces. Mom and baby are doing well, according to hospital officials.
